2004 and Up Sportster Models

The crash bar bolts to the front control mounts on any mid control Sportster model, 2004 and up.  There may be some bolts in the location that hold some wire clips which you would first remove before installing the crash bar.  Next, slip the crash bar in to place and with the supplied hardware, bolt the crash bar to the frame.

Recommended: Blue Loctite with torque spec of 22-25 ft/lbs.
