For 2000-2017 Early Softail Forward Control Crash Bar

Install Upper Mount The upper mount of the crash bar should line up with the factory upper crash bar mounting hole. Slide the crashbar up into place and install the button-head allen bolt with a nyloc nut at this location. Leave the nut loose until the lower bolts are installed

Select the Correct Mounting Holes
The lower section of the crash bar features two sets of mounting holes. The OEM control mounts would have a slightly different hole location depending on if it is a forward control or floorboard model. Choose the appropriate set based on the model of your bike. Only one set of holes will be used for mounting. -
Install Lower Bolts
For the lower mounting points, use the provided 3/8" allen bolts and nyloc nuts. Ensure the bolts are properly aligned before tightening -
Tighten All Bolts
Once all bolts are in place, tighten them securely to ensure proper installation.
