This is a 1/4" thick weld on mounting tab to hold up to those harsh applications. It is made of 1/4" thick mild steel to reduce bending or distorting under load like the stamped steel ones that are made of 1/8" or thinner that are on the market. We have used these for all sorts of fabrication projects where a weld on threaded hole or tab is needed. The hole will accept a 5/16 x 18 bolt.
