Description

When building a custom oil tank, many fabricators prefer to place all oil line fittings at the bottom of the tank for a cleaner look and easier plumbing. These weld-on vent and return tubes are designed to be welded directly to the top of an NPT bung before the bung is installed into the tank.

The straight tube is intended for the vent line, extending to the top of the oil tank so it reaches the air space above the oil.
The bent tube is used for the return line, directing hot oil to the opposite side of the tank to improve cooling before it’s drawn back through the feed line.

Both tubes are made from 3/8" O.D. x .065" wall mild steel tubing, ensuring strength, durability, and easy welding. Designed to work with tanks up to 6" in diameter, these tubes can also be trimmed for use with smaller tanks.
