Revo Twin Crashbar

 Installation Instructions

Revo Twin Crashbar

To install, you would remove the two plastic shrouds on the lower section of the bike covering the lower mounting point for the crashbar.  These can be removed by removing the two torx head bolts on either side, and then slipping the shrouds out of place.

Position the crashbar with the lower mounting tabs below their mounting position, pull the crashbar upwards to get the lower tabs in position and rotate the top toward the frame after, to get the upper mounting holes lined up.

Next, use the m10 supplied mounting bolts; install them thru the crashbar mounting tabs into the frame.  Once these are in place, it will help hold the crashbar vertically, making the lower bolts easier to install.

On the left side of the bike, it will take the supplied rectangular thicker spacer and the longer supplied m8 bolts.  The spacer would sit between the crashbar mounting tab and the mounts on the bike. The right side would take the thinner spacer with the shorter supplied M8 bolts. This would sit between the crashbar and bike mounts as well.  Once all bolts are started, they can all be tightened. The M8 bolts to 30-35 ft lbs and the M10 to 40-45 ft lbs.

The lower plastic shrouds removed earlier, can also be reinstalled.
