5/16"-18 Weld-In Threaded Bungs – 1018 Mild Steel
These weld-in bungs are machined from solid 1018 cold rolled mild steel round stock, then drilled and threaded to 5/16"-18 SAE coarse thread. Commonly used as weld nuts or threaded standoffs, these bungs are ideal for any custom fabrication project where strong, reusable threaded mounts are needed.
Available in multiple length options, the 0.400" and 0.75" versions are thru-tapped, while the 1.25" length is blind-tapped, making it great for closed-end applications. With a 3/4" outer diameter, each bung offers ample weld surface for strength and reliability.
