5/16"-24 Weld-In Threaded Bungs – 1018 Mild Steel
These 5/16"-24 weld-in threaded bungs are machined from solid 1018 cold rolled mild steel round stock for excellent strength and clean, consistent welds. Designed for fabrication and custom mounting applications, they’re also commonly referred to as threaded standoffs or weld nuts.
Each bung is drilled and tapped through for standard SAE fine thread 5/16"-24 hardware, and available in two lengths—0.400" and 0.75"—to meet your specific clearance or mounting needs. Both sizes have a 3/4" outer diameter, providing a wide surface area for strong weld contact.
