Description
These blind tapped tank bungs are made from 6061-T6 aluminum. They are commonly used to weld into fluid containers to provide a threaded, leak proof mount. They come in two different thread pitches. The larger diameter allows more room for your weld bead, helping to create a stronger overall weld and to help spread the load over a greater area and reduces cracking commonly found with aluminum tanks. Mate up some of the 5/16 threaded mounts and some of our rubber mounting isolators for extra insurance.
