These weld-in aluminum blind threaded bungs—also known as top hat bungs—are ideal for custom fabrication of aluminum gas tanks, oil tanks, coolant catch tanks, and fluid reservoirs. Machined from durable 6061-T6 aluminum, each bung features a precision-stepped design for consistent mounting standoff height and quick weld alignment.
The large 1" flange provides increased weld surface area, spreads the load more effectively, and allows for a smaller 3/4" mounting hole. Perfect for high-vibration or pressure applications where reliability and clean fitment matter.
