August 12, 2012Back in 06 HD did a big reworking of their Dyna models. In this change came a new style of shifter linkage for all of the mid control Dynas. They went from an adjustable shift link to a fixed or non adjustable style and replaced the heim and ball joints to a machined rod with two ball joint style fittings.This design very early on showed itself to us and our local riders to be a weak point.
