• These stepped steel blind threaded bungs (some call them tophat bungs) are great for use in gas tanks, oil tanks or any other steel fluid conatiner. They have a step machined in them to keep all of them mounted at the same standoff height for quick locating and welding, the larger 7/8" diameter flange allows for a larger surface area to help spread the load on the bung and allows you to drill a smaller 5/8" hole in your fluid container.
• Made frome 1018 mild steel
• 7/8" O.D. flange section .200" high
• 5/8" stepped down section
• 1-1/8" overall height
• Available in 1/4 x 20, 5/16 x 18, or 3/8 x 16 thread
